A beginning-less, endless living grid of energy, Seeing The Light –  was born from a vision during a spiritual journey in the mountains of Mexico. In this blissful state of oneness with existence, Zena experienced colours beyond earthly comprehension, which she translated into this profound artwork. Meditators and viewers alike have found the piece mesmerising, its ever-changing nature creating a moving, mind-expanding experience that invites deep introspection and peace. 

From this intimate beginning, the artwork grew into something even greater. Recognising its unique vibrational energy, I collaborated with the renowned Jealous Print Studio in Shoreditch to create 108 silkscreen prints. The choice of 108—a sacred and symbolic number—reflected the spiritual resonance embedded in the piece. These larger-scale prints offer a bold reinterpretation of the original’s intricate energy grid, amplifying its presence. 

Its journey didn’t stop there. As part of my collaboration with Amma’s community and the charity Embracing the World, I was honoured to contribute artwork for Amma’s program at Alexandra Palace. This led to Seeing the Light being reproduced as the largest Giclée print ever produced by Harwood Print Studio—an extraordinary testament to the piece’s profound resonance.

The artwork also took centre stage as the altar’s focal point during the 108 London retreat in Islington. There, its living grid played a vital role in enhancing the collective energy of the event, guiding participants through a powerful shared experience of unity and transformation.
