Butterflies have always fascinated me—their delicate beauty, their dance through the air, and the profound symbolism they carry. While living deep in the Costa Rican rainforest, they became more than just a source of joy; they became teachers, mirrors of my own metamorphosis.
Their presence stayed with me, but it was in the Mexican jungle that everything changed. In a moment of profound spiritual awakening, reality itself dissolved—I saw the world not as solid, but as a field of shimmering, vibrating particles of energy. That vision became the foundation of my art.
When I first felt called to paint butterflies, I was already painting in particles of colour, but I longed for a deeper evolution-something more refined, more alive. I prayed for inspiration, and that's when the marbling technique emerged, a divine development that brought a new dimension to my work .
Each marble-like particle is painted by hand, creating a luminous field of shifting energy on canvas.
